Al-Bayda village in Hama western countryside … A picturesque nature that blends with fragrance of history

Al-Bayda village, which is located 2 km from Masyaf city in Hama western countryside, is considered as one of the favorite tourist destinations for visitors to enjoy it’s fresh atmosphere, water and stunning scenes.

Its fame as a tourist attraction is not limited to its charming nature, but to its embracement of many diverse archaeological monuments scattered in various parts of the village.

The first thing that draws the attention of the visitor is the famous heritage house known as al-Maslab.

“Love and memories in that house are the main factors in preserving it since its establishment in 1860,” Hassan Rahma, a resident in the village  told SANA, adding that it was distinguished in the past by its contents of pieces and ancient house appliances (Antiques) of copper pots and a coffee grinder.

The house was one of the largest houses in the village because it accommodates a big number of visitors, while the village is also known for its historical church, which was restored by residents of the village in 1710.
