Al-Jaafari: Terrorists in Syria, neo-Nazis in Ukraine act under command of one operator

Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bashar al-Jaafari said that the unilateral coercive measures imposed by Western countries on Syria, and today’s sanctions against Russia are illegitimate measures in light of the Charter of the United Nations, calling for finding new mechanisms on dealing among countries on which the West imposes such measures.

“The terrorists in Syria and the neo-Nazis in Ukraine work under the command of one operator,”, al-Jaafari said in an interview with Russian news agency of Sputnik on Monday, adding that Syria is documenting “the US occupier’s recycling of the terrorists in Syria by removing them from one place to another.

Al-Jaafari said that no one can ignore the Russian role in the international balance, adding   that when Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to carry out a special military operation in Ukraine, he was in a defensive, not offensive position.

The Syrian official said that the volume of disinformation and lies that the West is circulating about what events in Ukraine is big.
