Al-Jundi Journal, issued by the Ministry of Defence, has published a special edition for the UAE’s 52nd National Day as part of its efforts to keep up with various national events and keenness to immortalise this glorious event.
The special edition titled ‘National Day 52’ features several sections highlighting the significance of this landmark historic occasion.
Under the title ‘The UAE: Stability, Prosperity, Security and Safety,’ Al Jundi stated, ‘Each year as our National Day arrives, we treasure its memory and reflect on the tremendous blessing God has bestowed on our cherished nation, the unity that brought the greatest achievement in Emirati history.’
It added, ‘It reminds us how hearts and hands joined together, and hopes unified, to achieve the miracle of Union and collective power for the seven emirates. A symbol of stability and prosperity, the UAE has become the epitome of security, welfare and advancement.’
Moreover, Al Jundi showcased the outstanding historical role of the Founding Fathers,
especially the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, in establishing this Union.
In addition, Al-Jundi dedicated important sections of its special edition to telling the stories of the success the UAE has reached during its 52 years on various levels under a wise leadership that spares no effort to provide decent lives for citizens.
Established in 1973, Al Jundi published its first issue in October, aiming to cover news and activities related to the UAE Armed Forces.
