Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani stressed the importance of raising the voice of unity, tolerance and acceptance of difference.
A statement by Al-Sudani’s office stated: The Prime Minister received today, Thursday, the scholar Sheikh Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Saadi, and the head of the Iraqi Scholars Group in the south, Sheikh Khaled Al-Mulla.
The meeting witnessed a review of the overall social conditions and ways to enhance the elements of stability and their sustainability.
During the meeting, Al-Sudani stressed the importance of raising the voice of unity, tolerance and acceptance of difference, and for religious scholars and sheikhs to assume their social responsibilities in strengthening civil peace.
He affirmed the government’s support for every initiative and project that contributes to the consolidation of stability and development for all spectrums and groups of the Iraqi people.
