Aleppo Health department adopts more preventive measures to combat Coronavirus

Aleppo Health Department adopted more preventative measures against coronavirus by receiving infected patients and suspected cases at al-Razi and Zahi Azraq Hospital, providing medical services to all patients for free.

 

Dr. Ziad Haj Taha, Aleppo Health Department Director, told SANA reporter that 35 beds have been set to receive patients infected with COVID-19 in Al-Razi Hospital and 10 beds for intensive care, in addition to the isolation departments in private hospitals, indicating that the University Heart Surgery Hospital continues to receive the infected patients and there is a reserve isolation department that has been dedicated at Ibn Khaldun Hospital, with a capacity of 100 beds for mild cases.

 

He pointed out that the number of infected patients in Aleppo ranges between 30 and 40 per day.

 

Taha called on citizens to take precautionary measures to keep away from the disease by wearing masks, paying attention to personal hygiene, staying away from crowded places, and taking the anti-virus vaccine.
