Algerian president praises Sisi, affirms depth of ties with Egypt

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune hailed his fraternal ties with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi saying he is a man who really loves his country and affirming depth of ties binding Algeria and Egypt.

 

Egypt, under the leadership of President Sisi, has regained its momentum, said the Algerian president, wishing for the North African country continued progress and prosperity.

 

The Algerian president’s remarks were made during his meeting Thursday 30/6/2022 with Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and in the presence of a host of high-level Egyptian and Algerian officials.

 

On his part, Madbouli conveyed the greetings of President Sisi to the Algerian president.

 

He also conveyed President Sisi’s greetings on the approach of the 60th anniversary of Algeria’s Independence.

 

The premier also voiced pride over visiting the Martyrs’ Memorial Wednesday, saying that he remembered not only the sacrifices of the Algerian martyrs in the Algerian war of Independence, but also their sacrifices in the 1973 war in Egypt.

 

He said the Egyptians and Algerians are capable of pursuing on the development process, especially in light of the current circumstances, that require rallying efforts in order to attain integration.

 

Madbouli, meanwhile, hailed the Algerian president’s plan to build one million housing units.

 

He also pointed out to the ongoing development efforts, currently taking place in Egypt under the leadership of President Sisi.
