YEREVAN: As head of an Emirati delegation visiting Armenia, Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council (FNC), met with Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of enhancing their cooperation in areas of mutual interest and lauded the growing overall relations between the UAE and Armenia.

Dr. Al Nuaimi affirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its relations with Armenia and taking advantage of opportunities available in both countries. He noted that through his meetings with several senior officials, he observed a sincere commitment to activate various forms of cooperation.

Grigoryan said his country looks forward to enhancing and advancing its cooperation with the UAE in various areas, including the economic, cultural, and tourism sectors, stressing the importance of exchanging visits and signing cooperation agreements to achieve common interests and meet the aspirat
ions of their leaderships and peoples.

The meeting was attended by several FNC members and Dr. Nariman Al Mulla, UAE Ambassador to Armenia.
