Baghdad, The leader of the National Coalition Iyad Allawi received former Speaker of Parliament, Osama al-Nujaifi, and former Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq.
A statement by Allawi’s office stated that they discussed developments in the political arena and the current situation.
Allawi stressed: “The political situation needs concerted efforts, unification of the political ranks, and convergence of points of view to produce outputs that serve the public interest and serve the Iraqi people.
He also stressed the need to find solutions to get out of the current political crisis that Iraq is going through.
