Damascus,SANA- Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman in Damascus Turki bin Mahmoud al-Busaidi affirmed that the Omani-Syrian relations are based on solid principles and mutual respect and common interests.
On the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman, Ambassador al Busaidi said in a statement to SANA that the visions of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries stress the importance of continuing the work to develop and expand aspects of bilateral relations.
The ambassador said there are many cooperation and partnership agreements between Muscat and Damascus in the cultural, educational, health and navigation aspects.
With regard to investment in Syria, Ambassador al-Busaidi ssid that the Syrian market is diverse and rich, and it is a fertile environment for investment and attracting capital, he added” the Syrian productive sectors faced the crisis conditions in a constructive manner.
