Daraa, SANA-The competent authorities have seized quantities of weapons and ammunition left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization in Daraa countryside through a security operation carried out during the past few days.
A security source told SANA reporter that during precise security operations that targeted positions of Daesh terrorist cells in the western countryside of Daraa over the past few days, terrorists Abu Salem al-Iraqi, Abu Omar al-Jababi and Mohammad Sayel were eliminated.
A number of terrorists were also arrested during the operations, in addition to confiscating quantities of weapons and ammunition.
The source added that, based on the confessions of the arrested terrorists and amount of weapons was confiscated and it included RPGs with their fillings, mortar shells, various ammunition and bombs, which had been distributed in several hidden depots in Daraa western countryside.
