The Arab League will hold an extraordinary meeting tomorrow Sunday to look into the current developments in Sudan, said the Arab League Assistant Secretary-General, Ambassador Hossam Zaki Saturday.

In a press release, Zaki noted that the meeting will be held at the request of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, clashes broke out between Sudanese army and paramilitary forces as talks aiming to reach a final political agreement had recently failed. The agreement was supposed to allow the Rapid Support Forces to merge into the Sudanese army and form a civil government.
