Lower House Speaker Ahmed Safadi headed the parliamentary delegation participating in the coordination meeting of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, ahead of the 146th Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in Bahrain.

During the meeting, the Arab parliamentary delegations agreed to extend MP Muhammad Bani Yassin’s membership in the Permanent Committee on United Nations Affairs, as well as naming MP Tamam Al-Riyati as representative of the Arab Group in the Standing Committee on Democracy and Human Rights.
