Arab world should unite for the good of humanity, Patriarch Yazigi says

Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X Yazigi has affirmed that the Arab world must be united for the good of humanity and for preserving its existence, interests and civilization

 

During a visit with Archbishop Gregory Khoury to the Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Patriarch Yazigi hailed the steadfastness and cohesion of the Syrian people in their homeland despite the challenges and difficulties.

 

“The message of the Patriarchate is clear as it is a message of love, steadfastness and coexistence among all compatriots,” Patriarch Yazigi said.

 

He expressed happiness for visiting the Embassy headquarters and for the presence of some ambassadors of brotherly Arab countries.

 

For his part, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, Chargé d’affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi welcomed Patriarch Yazigi, wishing that his visit to the UAE would be a source of motivation and encouragement for the members of the community there.
