Director of the Egyptian Naval Academy Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Adel Fawzy and President of Alexandria University Abdelaziz Konsowa signed on Wednesday 17/8/2022 a cooperation protocol on upgrading the university education system and scientific research.
Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces Rear Admiral Ashraf Ibrahim Atwa Megahed attended the signing ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, Rear Admiral Atwa asserted that the Armed Forces General Command is keen on achieving a scientific leap and unprecedented technological progress in the field of scientific research and maritime sciences with the aim of keeping the Naval Forces capable of implementing all tasks assigned to them with efficiency and high accuracy.
The protocol comes as part of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on specifying the academic degrees granted to graduates of the Egyptian military academies especially the Naval Academy graduates who are granted bachelor’s degrees in political sciences through the credit hours academic programs.
It also aims at promoting the scientific and practical skills of students through benefiting from the expertise and scientific potentials of both entities.
Alexandria governor, top officials at Alexandria University, a number of military brass attended the signing ceremony.
