Armenia’s President Vahagn Khachaturyan said his country is keen on developing relations with Egypt and boosting bilateral cooperation in various areas.

Khachaturyan made the remarks as he received Ambassador Serenad Mohamed Gamil on Tuesday 6/12/2022 for presenting her credentials as Egypt’s new ambassador to Armenia, according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on its Facebook page.

The Armenian leader congratulated Egypt for the great success it achieved in organizing the UN Climate Change Conference, COP27.

On her part, the Egyptian ambassador said she will do her best to elevate bilateral relations to new levels, through exploring new opportunities for cooperation in different fields, especially the economic and trade ones.
