JERUSALEM: Around 54 Israeli colonists today raided Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy protection from the Israeli police.

Sources said that Israeli forces imposed severe restrictions on the entry of worshipers into Al-Aqsa Mosque, as part of the siege imposed on it since the beginning of the aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, not only prevented worshipers from the West Bank from praying at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and issued hundreds of deportation decisions from it throughout the holy month of Ramadan, but he also came back demanding that the colonists be allowed to storm it in the last ten days of Ramadan.
