Riyadh– As many as 50 contesters from 28 countries belonging to four continents have qualified for the finals of OtrelKalam (perfume-like fine talk), a global Islamic religious competition attracting holy Quran narrators and announcers of Azan (calling for prayers).

After having passed electronic qualifying phases launched on the 4th of last January, the contesters are scheduled to appear for the finals in Riyadh before an arbitration committee during the forthcoming fasting month of Ramadan.

More than 50,000 contesters from 165 countries have competed in the recitation of the Holy Quran and calling for prayers to choose the world’s most nice voices the art.

The competition aims at casting light on drawing the attention of Holy Quran reciters and Azan announcer to some crucial distinctions among them, and introducing the culture of holy Quran and Azan to the whole world.
