At least 40 civilians killed, dozens wounded in Israeli airstrikes in the south of the Gaza Strip

GAZA: At least 40 civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted shelters housing displaced people in the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Sources said that Israeli military forces bombed, with several missiles, five shelter centers housing nearly 30,000 displaced people in Khan Yunis.

Meanwhile, three ambulance vehicles later managed to reach several dead bodies and wounded individuals, while other martyrs and wounded arrived hospitals by civilian vehicles.

According to local sources, dozens of civilians who were killed in the ongoing airstrikes are still lying on the ground where no one can reach them.

Earlier today, Israeli warplanes carried out intense airstrikes targeting hospitals and shelter centers west of Khan Younis.

At least 30 civilians arrived dead at Nasser Hospital following the ongoing artillery shelling.

The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th has risen to about 25,105, while 62,681 were
injured, the majority of whom are women and children. Thousands are still missing under the rubble.
