Day 182 of the genocide: Casualties reported in a series of Israeli attacks across Gaza

GAZA: Israeli occupation forces continued their airstrikes and artillery shelling across the Gaza Strip on Friday, resulting in numerous casualties among Palestinian civilians as the genocidal Israeli onslaught on the region marks its 182nd day in a row.

WAFA correspondents reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the central and western parts of Khan Yunis province, as well as the eastern part of Rafah city in southern Gaza.

Additionally, a fierce airstrike hit the vicinity of Sheikh Zayed City in northern Gaza, while several areas in the central governorate of the Strip were subjected to Israeli artillery fire.

Simultaneously, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted Tal al-Hawa neighborhood west of Gaza City before midnight, while artillery and aerial bombardments hit the southwestern and southeastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis city, and the eastern part of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Earlier, Israeli artillery fire targeted the Qleibo and Sheikh Zayed areas in Beit
Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with the ongoing destruction of residential homes in central and western Khan Yunis by the occupation forces.

Health sources confirmed that the artillery shelling and Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip early today resulted in the killing and injury of numerous civilians, including children and women, some of whom are still buried under the rubble.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 7 of last year has resulted in 33,037 documented Palestinian fatalities, mostly children and women, while the number of injuries has reached 75,668.

Emarat opens three new branches for its Shamil service centres


DUBAI: The Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) has announced the opening of three new branches for its Shamil service centres located in Sharjah (Shamil Al Joud, Industrial Area 17 and Shamil Al Ehsan, Al Suyoh Suburb) and Umm Al Qaiwain (Shamil GTS Umm Al Thoub in Umm Al Thoub area).

Through the opening of the new branches, Emarat aims to facilitate access for customers in the emirates of Sharjah and Umm Al Qaiwain to a variety of vehicle-related services, including inspection, evaluation, registration, renewal, fine payment, insurance, licensing, and other services for both light and heavy vehicles.

This brings the total number of Shamil centres to 10, distributed strategically across Emarat stations, including four branches in Dubai, two in Fujairah, two in Umm Al Qaiwain, and two in Sharjah, with plans for further expansion in the near future.

The Shamil service centres are the result of a collaboration between Emarat, the Ministry of Interior in the Northern Regions, and Dubai’s Roads and
Transport Authority (RTA). The centres provide a diverse range of services related to both light and heavy vehicles. They also offer special services for VIPs, ensuring the handling of all procedures, such as transporting vehicles from customers’ locations to the nearest Shamil service centre for inspection and evaluation, licensing, and returning them to customers’ locations, as well as issuing international driving licences for customers planning to travel.

Death toll of ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 33091

Gaza: According to medical sources, the death toll of civilians killed in the besieged Gaza Strip since the beginning of the bloody Israeli aggression on October 7th, 2023 has reached 33091, most of whom were children and women.

Sources added that the number of people wounded in the ongoing aggression has risen to 75750.

To be noted, the occupation forces have committed five massacres against families in the Strip during the last 24 hours., which resulted in the killing of 54 citizens, and the wounding of 82 others.

Several victims are still trapped under the rubble or scattered on the roads. Ambulance and rescue teams remain unable to reach them, said sources.

Israeli occupation forces assault worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, detain five of them

JERUSALEM: Israeli occupation forces attacked hundreds of worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem following the dawn prayer today, launching tear gas canisters and arresting at least five of them, according to local sources.

Thousands of worshipers at the holy compound had assembled following the dawn prayer and chanted slogans condemning the Israeli aggression on Gaza. Subsequently, the occupation forces assaulted them, including by using a drone loaded with teargas bombs to attack them.

After the dawn prayer, Israeli forces arrested at least five young worshippers, whose identities were not known, as they exited the holy site.

According to the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem, more than 65,000 worshipers performed the last Friday dawn prayer of Ramadan within the compound of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli forces close main entrances of Jericho City, obstruct traffic

JERICHO: The Israeli occupation forces tonight closed, in both directions, the main entrances of Jericho City, hindering the movement of Palestinian vehicles.

Security sources told WAFA that forces closed four main entrances and exits leading to the city during the Ramadan Iftar, the breaking of the fast at sunset, and searched the vehicles of citizens, obstructing traffic.
