Deir Ezzor, SANA- Competent authorities in Deir Ezzor uncovered a tunnel containing weapons and ammunitions left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in the eastern countryside of the city.

“After research and investigation to dismantle explosive traps and remove weapons left behind by terrorists, and in cooperation with the locals to secure a safe return for them to Deir Ezzor countryside, authorities concerned uncovered a tunnel containing large quantities of arms ,some of them western made, in addition to books hold Takfiri ideology that contradicts the teaching and values of Islam.” SANA reporter there said.

The reporter added that the arms involved assault rifles, machineguns, RPG launchers, mortars and snipers.
