The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced that “Be an Ambassador” initiative for sustainable development has been included in the UNDESA platform of the initiatives aiming at accelerating achievement of sustainable development goals.

UNDESA is in charge of running economic and social affairs in the UN.

Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el Saeed said in statements Thursday 1/9/2022 that the state is very interested in Egyptian young people, stressing that youth are at the heart of development process as part of Egypt vision 2030.

The state is always keen on expanding investment in youth and qualifying them for leadership, she said.

The initiative is a big success, the minister said, adding the ministry seeks to raise the awareness of youth about opportunities and challenges facing Egypt to achieve sustainable development goals and Egypt Vision 2030.

The initiative aims to build national capacities in the field of sustainable development through a series of training courses for various sectors and groups of people that will be held in cooperation with various stakeholders.
