House Speaker Nabih Berri on Monday implored the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that have agreements with the Zionist entity to immediately abolish these treaties, stressing that defending Gaza and Palestine is the responsibility of the entire nation.”Defending Gaza and Palestine is not the responsibility of one particular Palestinian faction or the Palestinians alone; it is the responsibility of the entire nation,” he told a conference for the House Speakers of the OIC member states.Berri also highlighted the Palestinian people’s right to resistance with all possible and available means in order to realize its dream of returning to its homeland and establishing an independent Palestinian state with al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
