BERRI DISCUSSES SITUATION WITH FAHMI, RECEIVES LETTER FROM HIS SYRIAN COUNTERPART

House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday met at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh with Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Brigadier General Mohammed Fahmi, with whom he discussed the current security situation and the latest political developments.

 

This afternoon, Speaker Berri received the son of late MP Mustafa Al-Husseini, Lawyer Firas Al-Husseini.

 

On the other hand, Berri received a letter from his Syrian counterpart, the Speaker of the Syrian People’s Assembly, Hammouda Al-Sabbagh, bearing on the attacks on parts of Syrian territories, in general, and the frequent water cuts in the city of Hasaka and its surroundings, in particular.
