Riyadh, March 10, 2023, SPA – The Ministry of Investment’s Undersecretary of Investment Development, Fahd Al-Naim, has commended the success of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) in organizing the BIBAN 23 Forum, pointing out that investors constitute the major pillar of the national investment strategy.
Al-Naim’s remarks came during a panel session organized during BIBAN 23 on enhancing international economic cooperation between agencies concerned with SMEs and startups, with the participation of Monsha’at Deputy Governor Saud Al-Sabhan, StrategEast chief executive Anatoly Motkin, and Astrolabs chief executive Roland Thaher.
During the session, Al-Naim reviewed the incentives the Kingdom provides to investors, explaining that the national investment strategy supports SMEs and removes all obstacles hindering their growth.
Al-Sabhan underlined the development achieved in the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship sector, adding that the Kingdom has jumped to second place in the international ranking in the comprehensive coverage and growth in the SMEs sector.
Participants in the session also discussed the Kingdom’s digital economy and its efforts to attract investors and entrepreneurs.
