A Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, decided to approve the establishment of two municipalities in northern Bani Obeid district and Amman’s Rajm al-Shami area, based on provisions of Article (21/a) of Local Administration Law. No. (22) of 2021. The decision comes in response to the citizens’ demands in both regions, as Bani Obeid district has so far no municipalities, aimed to facilitating provision of services to their local community. On the other hand, the Council of Ministers approved 2023 draft visa bylaw, aimed to set validity periods of visas issued by Ministry of Interior and Jordanian missions abroad, as well as their validity to enter the Kingdom according to the number of traveler trips and visa duration and type. The Cabinet also okayed an amended bylaw to regulate and monitor e-invoicing affairs for 2023, for the purposes of approving e-invoices issued by the national e-billing program, or for any application to be operated to get rid of paper bills.
