Cuba’s COP28 presence revolves around its comprehensive State Plan for Climate
Change, known as ‘Tarea Vida’. This ambitious strategy aims to protect the nation’s unique biodiversity, coastal areas, and iconic architecture from the perils of climate change. “We are showing a programme from 3rd to 10th December featuring our projects related to climate change adaptation and mitigation,” Dayami Gonzalez, Director-General of Communication at the Cuban Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
