Clear to partly cloudy skies, rainfalls expected over coastal regions

Meteorology Department said that temperatures will continue to rise, yet remaining from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure, accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper parts of atmosphere.

According to Saturday bulletin, the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, turning into cloudy during evening hours over the coastal regions with a chance for showers.

At night, the weather will be very cold, frost and ice are expected in all regions, meanwhile the wind will be easterly to southeasterly with low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

Expected temperatures in several major Syria cities will be as follows: Damascus 9/1, Daraa 12/4, Homs 13/3, Hasaka 3/-5, Tartous 16/11, Aleppo 8/1, Deir Ezzor 12/0
