RAMALLAH: Colonial Israeli settler militias attacked Palestinian villagers today and stole their livestock near the town of Rammon, to the east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Ibrahim Suleiman, the mayor of Rammon municipality, reported that a group of settlers assaulted shepherds the vicinity of the town. The attackers viciously beat the shepherds with sticks, resulting in injuries to three individuals who were later transported to the hospital. The injuries included bruises and fractures.

Suleiman emphasized that the settlers not only assaulted the shepherds but also stole several sheep from the area before withdrawing from the scene.

Terror attacks by Israeli settler militias are a common feature of the daily life under colonial settler occupation, but have seen exponential growth in recent months with the rise of ultranationalist fascism in Israel’s government coalition.
