A group of armed colonial Israeli settlers, guarded by the Israeli military, launched an attack this evening on the village of Al-Jaba’a, located to the southwest of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The head of the Al-Jaba’a Village Council, Diab Masha’ala, reported that a number of settlers, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, stormed the village through its eastern entrance while firing live ammunition indiscriminately.

Masha’ala expressed his deep concern over the possibility of settlers committing crimes against the local residents in the village, echoing a similar incident that took place in the village of Qusra in the Nablus province, where terror settler militias massacred six Palestinian civilians within a 24-hour timeframe.
