CONFERENCE OF THE WORLD COUNCIL OF THE ARABIC LANGUAGE IN THE COMPOUND OF THE COLLEGE OF ISLAMIC CALL

The World Council of the Arabic Language held its twelfth conference entitled “Planning… and Language Policy” at its headquarters in the compound of the College of Islamic Call in Beirut.

 

In the opening speech, the President of the Council, Dr. Laila Khalaf Al-Sab’an, announced that “one of the objectives of the World Council is to serve the Arabic language, to seek to revive the Arab heritage, and to preserve the origins and continuity of “Arabic” in the ranks of living languages,” stressing that “the language of the Holy Qur’an and the language of the Dhad are the past. and the future of the Arab nation and its speakers.

 

For his part, Sheikh Bilal Jabri, on behalf of Sheikh Abdel Nasser Jabri’s institutions, pointed out that participation from more than fifteen countries in this conference, and in light of the difficult time and critical conditions the world is going through, is considered a success from God Almighty.
