Egyptian Minister of Culture Nevine el-Kilani on Monday 5/9/2022 met with Decent Life Foundation secretary-general Aya Omar el-Qamari, Initiatives Sector director Nada Kheder and Hamdi Mamdouh of the Integrated Development Sector of the Foundation.

Discussions covered means to expand co-operation between the ministry and the Decent Life Foundation.

The minister praised the foundation for its efforts to improve living standards in the countryside.

El-Kilani said her ministry supports the activities of the presidential rural development initiative Decent Life.

The ministry has devised a programme to present all cultural activities within the initiative, el-Kilani said.

Decent Life reflects government support for rural areas nationwide to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, the minister added.

The initiative brings development to the neediest rural communities in all parts of Egypt to promote their social, economic and environment levels and improve public services, she said.
