Cyprus participated in ProWein 2023 international exhibition in Dsseldorf, with 13 local wine producers showcasing their produce among other 6,000 exhibitors from 61 countries. This was the second consecutive participation for Cyprus, organised by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry and the Commercial Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in Berlin. According to an announcement by the Ministry, wine makers had the opportunity to present the significant progress in Cyprus’ viniculture, showcasing unique varieties and different types of produce, from different kinds of wines, to the Cypriot fortified wine koumandaria and spirit zivania. ProWein is an annual exhibition which allows professionals to promote their produce and close business deals.
