Baghdad, The Iraqi National Security Service announced today, Monday, the arrest of the perpetrator of the murder of a retired officer.
The security apparatus stated in a statement that, “with intelligence efforts and careful field follow-up, a force from the National Security Agency in Anbar, in coordination with the Sulaymaniyah Asayish, managed to arrest the perpetrator of the murder of the retired officer (Saad Mohsen Marzouk) in Al-Karmah district, and he in his possession an amount belonging to the victim.”
He pointed out that “the operation took place after obtaining judicial approvals, as the accused was pursued and tracked during his escape to Sulaymaniyah Governorate.”
