Baghdad Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi met, on the sidelines of his visit to Turkey, the Turkish President’s advisor for intelligence affairs, Hakan Fidan.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that during the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between Iraq and Turkey, especially in the intelligence aspect and information exchange.

During the meeting, Hakan praised Iraq’s efforts in delivering aid to those affected by the earthquake that struck Turkey last month.
