Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki toured Saturday 04/06/2022 a main unit of the Armed Forces Department of Weapons and Ammunition.
The tour came as part of the General Command of Armed Forces’ keenness to follow up on the continued development and modernization of equipment for various branches of the Armed Forces.
Zaki watched a presentation that included a detailed explanation of the method of work and continuous development in light of the technological revolution in the field of weapons.
He later toured different departments that operate according to the latest technical insurance methods in the field of maintenance.
He also opened a center for developing small arms, which is equipped with the latest advanced technological systems to enable specialists to make the utmost benefit of the center and keep pace with the global development in the field.
The minister praised the distinguished level and high combativeness of the department’s personnel and their insistence on fulfilling the tasks assigned to them.
