Total deposits in February 2023 recorded a net increase of pound 357.1 million, compared with a net decrease of pound 583,8 million in January 2023. According to data released on Monday by the Central Bank of Cyprus, the annual growth rate stood at 0.3%, compared with -0.1% in January 2023. The outstanding amount of deposits reached pound 51.9 billion in February 2023. Compared to February 2022, deposits increased by pound 413 million. Total loans in February 2023 recorded a net increase of pound 81.2 million, compared with a net decrease of pound 93.2 million in January 2023. The annual growth rate stood at -0.7%, compared with -0.9% in January 2023. The outstanding amount of total loans reached pound 25.1 billion in February 2023.
