Riyadh, Under the patronage of Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel, the Deputy Minister of Health, Eng. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, inaugurated today the International Conference on Diabetes and its accompanying exhibition which will run March 9-10 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Riyadh’s Digital City.
Delivering a speech at the inauguration ceremony, Undersecretary for Preventive Health at the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Asiri explained that the ministry, in cooperation with concerned agencies, is working on upgrading healthcare services through a number of projects and initiatives, stressing the need for collaborative efforts to combat chronic diseases, mainly diabetes.
The conference is accessible both in person and virtually and is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
