Dozens of Palestinians suffocated today after inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli military forces during confrontations that erupted in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to local activist Mohammed Awad. The activist told WAFA that Israeli forces broke into an area in the town of Beit Ummar, leading to clashes with the provoked residents. Forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters toward residents and their homes, causing dozens to suffocate, including children and women.
