Amman, Jordan – Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Hasanat has officially taken the oath of office as Jordan’s Grand Mufti, in a ceremony before Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, following a Royal Decree appointing him to the position.

According to Jordan News Agency, the oath, administered in line with Article (67) of the Civil Service Law No. (9) of 2020 and its amendments, was witnessed by Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Jazi. This ceremony marks the beginning of Dr. Al-Hasanat’s tenure as the Grand Mufti of Jordan.
