Egypt bourse posts collective gains, all indexes up

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains at the close of Monday’s trading session.

The market capital gained about EGP 770.3 billion to close at EGP 12.3 billion, amid transactions that totaled EGP 1.6 billion.

The EGX 30 benchmark index was up by 2.37 percent, registering 11,443.71 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) increased by 0.81 percent, ending at 2,237.75 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 1.6 percent, closing at 3,260.17 points.
