Egypt has condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attack that targeted Samtah district in the Saudi Jizan province and left several people dead and injured after a Houthi projectile hit the area.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry voiced Egypt’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the face of these despicable terrorist attacks which constitute a violation to the rules of international law and a blatant threat to security and stability of the region.
Egypt asserted its firm stance supporting the Saudi Kingdom in all measures it takes to preserve its security and safety of its people, saying that the national security of both countries are closely connected.
Egypt’s government and people extend their sincere condolences to Saudi Arabia and the families of the innocent victims, whishing the injured a speedy recovery.
