An aid of medical supplies presented by the Egyptian Health Ministry arrived in Chad on Wednesday on an EgyptAir flight, the Foreign Ministry said.
On its official page at Facebook, the ministry said the grant includes 15 dialysis machines and a special unit for treating water.
The grant was received by Egyptian Ambassador to Chad Osama el Hady accompanied by the Chadian minister of public health, the Chadian presidential advisor for health affairs in addition to representatives of N’Djamena Central Hospital.
The minister thanked Egypt for this important gift, pointing out to the dire need of the Chadian hospitals of these dialysis machines in light of growing number of patients suffering from kidney diseases.
Meanwhile, Hady asserted Egypt’s keenness on boosting cooperation with Chad in the different domains especially in the health sector.
