Egypt, IATA discuss tourism cooperation

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Eissa held a meeting Sunday with head of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Account Management for North Africa and Levant Mohamed Lotfy.

 

The meeting tackled means of boosting cooperation between the two sides in the field of tourism and travel and increasing the flow of tourists to Egypt.

 

The two officials also reviewed efforts made by the ministry to promote Egyptian tourist destinations and products, including campaigns launched in targeted markets and their positive results.

 

They also discussed a number of proposals and mechanisms that would contribute to attracting more tourists to Egypt.
