Egypt, Jordan discuss promoting pharmaceutical integration

Egypt and Jordan discussed challenges besetting the pharmaceutical integration as well as the proposed solutions to enhance all-pharmaceutical related policies.

This came during a meeting held Wednesday between Chairman of Egyptian Drug Authority Tamer Essam and Director-General of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Nizar Mhaidat, at the end of the latter’s visit to Egypt, along with his accompanying delegation to attend the first edition of Africa Health ExCon.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of boosting cooperation in accelerating the registration of Jordanian medicine and medical appliances in Egypt.

The two sides also underlined the need of promoting coordination and exchanging technical expertise in sphere of biological industry.
