Egypt, Kazakhstan discuss boosting cooperation in education

Education Minister Tarek Shawqi discussed with Kazakh Ambassador in Cairo Khairat Lama Sharif boosting cooperation in the field of pre-university education.

 

During the meeting, both sides discussed means to boost cooperation in the field of technical education between Egypt and Kazakhstan especially after the developments recently done by the Education Ministry in the educational operation and linking the graduates of technical schools with the demands of the labor market.

 

Shawqi asserted the strong ties binding both countries in the different domains, confirming the keenness of the political leadership to promote cooperation between them in the different fields.

 

Shawqi expressed hope to boost cooperation in the pre-university education and exchanging expertise.

 

He also pointed out to the efforts exerted by the ministry to develop the educational curricula since 2017, adding that the ministry is working on attracting more students via linking the technical education with the Egyptian, Arab and international work market in addition to introducing new specializations, including artificial intelligence, jewelry, programming, ports to meet the needs of the work market.

 

Meanwhile, Sharif asserted that Egypt and Kazakhstan have strategic distinguished ties, adding that his country is keen on boosting cooperation with Egypt in the different domains.

 

Sharif lauded the pioneering role of Egypt in the field of education and the level of ties between both countries in the educational and cultural fields.
