Egypt, Malaysia probe boosting scientific cooperation

President of Al Azhar University Mohamed Al Mahrasawy discussed with a delegation from the Islamic university of Malaysia’s Penang means to cement scientific cooperation.

 

During a meeting on Sunday, Al Mahrasawy reaffirmed that Al-Azhar, under Grand Imam Ahmed El Tayyeb, welcomes the promotion of cooperation with all educational institutions worldwide to spread moderate Islam.

 

He added that the requests of the Malaysian delegation will be considered to boost the desired cooperation between both sides.

 

The meeting was attended by a host of respective officials from Al Azhar and the Malaysian university.
