Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeed met on Thursday 14/7/2022 with Pakistani Minister for Planning, Development and Special initiatives Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary to discuss boosting cooperation.
This came on the sidelines of the 2022 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) at the UN headquarters. The theme for the 2022 HLPF is “Building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.
During the meeting, Saeed pointed out to the regional economic cooperation opportunities that may bring Egypt and Pakistan together.
She also reviewed Egypt’s model in the economic and social reform, noting that Egypt had exerted great efforts in reaching the sustainable development goals through Egypt’s 2030 vision.
