Egypt wins 1st place at Arab Youth Award 2022

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Egyptian National Committee for UNESCO Ayman Ashour reviewed a report on Egypt’s winning of the first place at the Arab Youth Award 2022.

 

The Egyptian National Committee for UNESCO and the Arab Research and Studies Institute affiliated with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) picked Egypt for the award in May 2022, according to a statement released by the Higher Education Ministry on Thursday.

 

The report showed that Hala Ahmed El Rashidi, assistant professor at Cairo University’s Faculty of Economics and Political Science, won the USD 5,000 prize for a study entitled “Expertise of Arab Organizations in Promoting Joint Arab Action: Limits of Reality and Hope”.

 

The report noted the Arab Youth Award 2022 focuses on how to contribute to advancing joint Arab action amid the regional challenges, through scientific studies by young researchers and specialists in Arab affairs.
