Assistant Foreign Minister for consular affairs Salah Abdel Sadeq said Egypt has been currently working on automating consular services to provide certificates that meet the state-of-the-art global standards.

Abdel Sadeq made his remarks at a session of the 3rd “Egyptian entities abroad” conference, held on Tuesday 16/8/2022 in the New Administrative Capital.

Egypt also aims to establish infrastructure based on high safety standards to guarantee safe circulation of documents.

The automation means offering online application for services to save time and efforts for Egyptian expats, he said.

Abdel Sadeq urged Egyptian expats to update their information in the national database to help improve the quality of services offered to them.
