Cairo, SANA- The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry starts a visit to Syria on Monday to convey a message of solidarity from his country to Syria after the earthquake disaster that hit Syria.

“Shoukry will travel to Syria and Turkey on Monday, on a visit aimed at conveying a message of solidarity from Egypt to the two countries and their two peoples, after the earthquake catastrophe that left heavy losses,” said the spokesman for the ministry, the Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid.

Abu Zeid added that the Foreign Minister is expected to affirm, in his meetings with both Syria and Turkey, Egypt’s permanent readiness to provide assistance to the affected people in the two countries.
